Revel was evidently popular with Milwaukee's African-American population. The bar brought back memories of my high school days in NYC, and I loved the music. While he asked for my identification, the bouncer joked with me, saw I was more than five decades over the drinking age, and told me to put the ID away, and he helped me order a drink. Everyone was warm, and several people even complimented me on my fedora. I only had one drink because my friends were afraid to come in. That's Milwaukee's problem. Fear prevents us from getting along. I accept and appreciate diversity, color, and ethnic heritage. That's America, people. We are all different. Enjoy the mosaic. ”

Revel was always the go to for a place to enjoy music and drinks. From connecting with different communities to spread awareness for animal rescues, lGBTQ events, music events, and or local businesses , Revel is never afraid to be the leader and put the spotlight on others. ! I’ve celebrating my engagement, birthdays, business launches, etc. but the one event that I will always remember is the event Revel held for my husband after his motorcycle accident. Without a question supported my family. The owners are now family and hold a huge place in our hearts. We love Revel Bar for being more than just a bar, and they deserve all the recognition. ”
